Carolina Escamilla is the Head Director of the DHJ Drill Team and has been a Spanish teacher at DHJ for three years, while also assisting the dance program.

She was Captain of the Drill Team Sapphires at Needville High School, where she developed strong leadership skills and a deep passion for performance. She later attended TCC Northeast Campus, training professionally with Movers Unlimited Touring Dance Company under Kihyoung Choi, performing at prestigious events such as the Palm Desert Choreography Festival and the American College Dance Association Gala.

Carolina earned her BFA in Dance from Sam Houston State University in Spring 2022 and continues to train professionally, taking classes with renowned artists worldwide. Her passion for teaching—both in dance and Spanish—keeps growing, and she is dedicated to inspiring her students to develop a lifelong love for learning and the arts.
