Michael spent four years at Texas Tech University where he received his BS in Kinesiology followed by two years earning his Master of Athletic Training at Texas Tech University Health Science Center. While there he worked with local High Schools and clinics, as well as multiple seasons with TTU Football, Baseball, T&F, Volleyball and Basketball. Michael worked for the NFL team the Jacksonville Jaguars during the 2019 Pre-season. 

Michael grew up in Canadian, Texas where he played football and participated in extracurriculars such as FFA. His hobbies include playing video games, spending time outdoors, and spending time with wife Emily and daughter Tinley.
