Coach Rebecca Johnson brings 10 years of experience in player development and high school coaching. A four-year Ferrum College Women's Basketball player, she was a two-time Panther Teammate of the Year and earned degrees in Sports Marketing, Business Management, and an MBA. After graduation, she worked with the Charlotte Hornets before launching her career coaching and teaching while hosting skills training camps alongside former NBA athletes in Charlotte, NC.
Originally from Waynesboro, VA, she relocated to Fort Worth in 2020 with her two children. Her daughter, a DHJ Class of 2025 cheerleader and flag football player, will attend the University of Houston for Interior Architecture, while her son enjoys football and basketball.
Coach Johnson’s coaching philosophy centers on player development, skill refinement, and fostering a strong team culture. She prioritizes strategic play, teamwork, and a supportive yet challenging environment, helping athletes maximize their potential on and off the court.
