Bio: Coach Kyle “Reo” Reopelle is a native of the Chicagoland area and played NAIA soccer at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, IL. During his time at Olivet, he helped lead the men’s soccer team to three conference tournament championships and one regular season conference championship. His final two seasons he served as a team captain.

Coach Reo has been the boys’ varsity soccer coach at Diamond Hill-Jarvis High School since 2018. The Eagles have accumulated over 150 wins thus far under Coach Reo. They have won 6 straight District Championship and made several deep playoff runs reaching the Regional Championship in 2023, and 2025 and finishing 2nd at the 4A State Championships in 2021.

Coach Reo desires to see his players become young men of good character through the beautiful game of soccer. This is primarily seen by holding players accountable to the three core values of DHJ Boys’ Soccer – respect, commit, & compete. The boys’ soccer program at Diamond Hill is always preparing to win on the field and in all areas of life.

Coach Reo has also served as the assistant coach for Cross Country since 2022. He helped coach the boys' cross country team to a District Championship in 2022, and 4A State Cross Country Champion Angel Sanchez in 2022 & 2023.

In his free time, he enjoys being outside hiking and fishing with his family. Coach has been married to his wife Julie for 12 years, and they have three young boys - Brady, Kaden, and Weston.
